Krishna Chaitanya junior college was established in 2006 with an aim to provide Quality education to the students of Nellore. With it’s suspendous success and repeated request from the student Community and enthusiasm parents have prompted them to start a Residential campus. The institution started Residential junior College exclusively for Boys in Wahabpet (prabhanjana campus) and Residential junior college exclusively for girls in wahabpet (vasishta campus). Later with an ardent view the institution was expanded in different areas. Since then it has been attracting the students. Every Care is taken to ensure students success in Intermediate and competitive exams like IIT, JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT & NEET both at the same time. Certain teaching procedure are moulded considering the standard of students and their goals.
The academic council of the college consists of compartments Heads and academic supervisors with the principal as the team leader. The council meets every team to plan our strategies for better performance of the teachers, materials, infra-structure and program for effective methodology. The whole years plan concerning academics are analyzed, discussed and finalized in the Academic council. Here Knowledge imparting will not help the students to achieve the ultimate goal. Hence the college has deviced many systems to equip the students to achieve their ambition. Our Uniqueness is weekly unit test i.e., Every tuesday and saturday, unit tests are conducted in the first two periods of forenoon session and afternoon session. Students get ample oppurtunities for learning this weekly lessons then and there and prepare well for final examinations.
Today Krishna Chaitanya happens to be one of the largest Educational groups in the state of Andhra Pradesh with more then 300 Faculty and around 200 Administrative Staff and above 10000 Students.
The campuses of Krishna Chaitanya offers Physics,Chemistry,Botany.Zoology&Maths labs. Students gain practical experience through demonstrations and experiments. The students learn under the expert guidance of respective subject lecturers.
Krishna chaitanya hostels are established with the most modern facilities for students coming from far off places. Krishna Chaitanya serves the Students Efficiently. Krishna Chaitanya faculty supervises the Study Hours of hostels regularly. Separate hostels for boys and girls which are termed as best in Andhra Pradesh are available to students Preferring Hostel Studies. The hostel is under the supervision of Hostel-in-charge, Assistant hostel-in-charges and wardens. The hostel staff attends to students and ensures the amenities offered to them are in good order. Students are provided with mineral water for drinking and hot water for bathing.
Care is taken to prepare food under extremely hygienic conditions. Students are offered milk in the morning and milk/tea in the evening break along with snacks, apart from the regular breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is tasted by the administrative staff before it is served to students to ensure Quality and proper cooking.
A Qualified doctor attends to the healthcare of students. Free medicine is given to a student who falls sick. Parents are kept informed of the health status of students who are indisposed.
The College owns 5 vehicles which cave a distance of 20km radius for pick up and Drop of students. Safety of Students being ferried in the vehicles is our prime concern.
Safety is the prime concern in our college. A Fire Hose Reel has also been installed on all floors of the building. There was a demonstration by the officials from the company on the methodology of using the systems.
It is a matter of great pleasure for us to welcome you to Krishna Chaitanya Colleges on behalf of the faculty members and supporting staff. Our college is well known for its well equipped laboratories, good library facilities, highly qualified and dedicated teachers and conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning. Professors from reputed institutions quite often visit the college to give invited talks, lectures and seminars. We also organize training programmers and conferences on regional and national level with the financial support of bodies. These programs facilitate excellent means to enrich your learning outside the class rooms. We believe that our graduates and post graduates need technological knowledge, communication and problem solving skills in order to compete in the present global scenario. We are confident that preparing today’s youth for future success requires a team effort. Therefore the college and its all stake holders must work together for quality assurance in education.
